Using helium balloon gas correctly: Here's how it works

Not for the pretentious: Helium balloons are a real asset to practically any celebration – whether in vibrant, colorful designs or with classic motifs. Our disposable helium cylinder with a 0.2m³ capacity makes every balloon float and, as experience has shown, delights guests of all ages!

Step-by-step instructions for optimal results

1. Before you begin, make sure the helium cylinder is stable and cannot tip over. Now remove the black valve cap from the cylinder.
2. Next, screw the black rubber valve (bend valve) onto the spot where you removed the valve cap. No tools are needed for this – you can simply tighten it by hand. Note: A small amount of thread will always remain visible; you cannot turn the valve all the way.
3. Turn the green screw cap on the top of the helium cylinder all the way open. No gas should escape yet.
4. Pull the neck of a helium balloon over the black rubber valve and press it very close to the valve.
5. Carefully press the balloon neck, including the black rubber valve, downwards or upwards until the helium flows into the balloon.
6. Fill the balloon to the desired size. But be careful: Do not fill it completely!
7. Simply knot the balloon or tie it with the supplied balloon string.
8. Once you have finished filling the balloons, you can close the balloon gas cylinder again with the green screw cap and then replace the valve protection cap for transport and storage.

Helium is a non-toxic noble gas and is colorless, tasteless, and odorless. Because helium is about seven times lighter than air, helium balloons rise and float. Therefore, always tie them securely, otherwise they'll float away in no time!
