The piñata is originally a Mexican tradition symbolizing the banishment and destruction of evil. It's an indispensable part of Latin American fiestas! Our colorful number piñata is super easy to combine with our other number piñatas, allowing you to create any number. It's also perfect for garden parties and birthday celebrations for children of all ages.

Convenient preparation

You decide what goes inside – the small, discreet opening on the back of the piñata makes it easy to fill with party favors, sweets, and confetti. Simply peel off the sticker that says " TO FILL - CUT HERE " and you're good to go!

Next, you can hang the piñata using the sturdy plastic loop and a strong string; outdoors, for example, from a stable branch or a swing set, and indoors from a hook in the ceiling (alternatively, an adult can hold the piñata). Tip: The higher the piñata hangs, the more difficult it is. For beginners, it's ideal at about head height.

This is how the fun party game works

Starting with the birthday child (or, alternatively, the youngest player), the other players are blindfolded one after the other and given a stick. While the other party guests cheer them on, they have three attempts to hit the piñata with the stick; then it's the next player's turn. Once the piñata has burst open and the surprises inside have fallen out, all the players gather them up from the floor and divide them among themselves.

TIP: Our piñatas are made of sturdy cardboard and require a few firm blows to break. This makes them more fun for older children and adults. However, it can be a real challenge for very young children. Therefore, we recommend that children up to 6 years old make a few cuts in the piñata before playing. This makes the cardboard break more easily, ensuring fun for even the youngest children.
